John

Thank God you're a patient father with regard to your childs's persistent "grilling". The fact that in the end it it revealed to you the deeper meaning of Gratitude is a true gift. I too have found I've been unable to get beyond a superficial attempt at conveying a deep & sincere Gratitude during times of fear & worry, causing a serious disconnect from the Supreme.

So in times of worry & doubt a little persistence in thinking of all the things I truly have to be greatful is the key take us from the destructive to a constructive plane.

Old habits die hard; A lifetime tendency of worry, doubt and fear isn't reversed instantaneously. But your lesson learned with help from your son is an early Christmas gift to me. And I'm Grateful. Happy Thanksgiving Tony.

Hi John,

Here's another way to look at it...

Doubt, uncertainty, fear and worry always come as a result of thinking about what you *don't* want.

The moment you mentally "switch gears" and begin thinking about what you *do* want... doubt, uncertainly, fear and worry disappear and are replaced by certainty and faith.

Think about it. :-)

Happy Thanksgiving to you too John!

Tony
